The Cumberland County Schools’ (CCS) Choice Program Fair will be held on Saturday November 2, 2019, from 10:00 am to 1:00 pm at E.E. Smith High School. Families are encouraged to come out and explore all of the elementary, middle, and high school Choice Program options for the 2020-2021 school year. The application period will begin on November 12, 2019 and end on January 31, 2020. Follow us on Twitter @ccschoice1 to stay informed about Choice Program updates.

Cumberland County Schools is proud to offer a variety of Choice Programs tailored to meet the diverse needs of students.  Choice Programs are uniquely themed concepts implemented at select schools throughout the district. Exercise your power of choice within CCS by learning more about the Choice Programs available to CCS students and select a program that best matches your child’s interests and future goals.

Click on the appropriate buttons to the right of this page linking you to the Choice Program options at each grade level.  For additional information about a specific CCS’  Choice Program, call the school to speak to the principal or Academy Director.   If you have questions regarding the status of your application or student placement, contact the CCS’ Student Assignment Office at 910.678.2616.

Transferring Schools During the School Year:
Once a parent/legal custodian makes the commitment to enroll a student in a particular CCS’ Choice Program,
the parent/legal custodian will not be able to transfer the student to another school during the school year.
Exceptions to this policy must be approved by the Board of Education and must be requested in writing.
